Season 3
Do you want glistening beaches dotted with quintessential Aussie surf towns that are home to some of the newest trail networks in Australia? Yes please. Eurobodalla captivates Vandy and Deetz like a couple of meerkats at feeding time.
Three days into Deetz and Vandy's five-day odyssey, the GVBR's open flatlands make way for rolling hills, temperate rainforests and pristine ocean waters, finishing in the iconic town of Apollo Bay.
The Great Victorian Bike ride provides the stage - literally - for Vandy and Deetz to experience a multi-day epic with 3000 other riders. There are loads of laughs as these two camping novices fend for themselves amongst the masses.
In the second part of their Western Australia adventure, Vandy and Deetz continue on through Collie to Dwellingup for a change of pace, connecting with nature in more ways than one.
Vandy and Deetz travel to the south-west of Western Australia where change is afoot. Having gone from industry towns to bonafide trail towns, Nannup and Collie now lay claim to some of the best MTB hotspots in Australia.
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, a ribbon of happiness running through some stunning countryside, gives Vandy and Deetz the chance to discover one of the best - and longest - multi-day rides in Australia.
Season 2
The majestic Coromandel Range frames the first half of the next Trail Towns adventure, the Hauraki Rail Trail which ends with the boys in a hole in the ground, literally. Then it's on to the mountain bike capital of the free world, Rotorua!
What a way to end the adventure of a lifetime for Vandy and Deetz! Queenstown is now the mountain bike capital of the South Island and the boys set out to discover the best trails. Then it's over to Wanaka for the finale, with the spectacular Lake Wanaka surrounded by mountains that invite adventure.
Deetz and Vandy start their adventure in the quirky seaside town of Timaru , the gorgeous seaside town just north of the A2O. It's then a quick two-hour drive to Tekapo to begin the life-changing experience of the 300 km Alps 2 Ocean Trail from Aoraki Mt Cook to the Steampunk HQ of NZ, Oamaru.
The South Island beckons, with Deetz and Vandy starting in Christchurch, a city that is a true cycling paradise. Then, taking the beautiful TranzAlpine Train across to the West Coast, the hosts discover why this part of New Zealand is so unique.
With trails that wind through ancient forests, serviced only by water taxi, giant waterfalls, bungee jumping, hot pools, mountain bike parks, glamping, guitar solos and so much more, our intrepid duo discover why more Kiwis holiday in Taupo than anywhere else.
