1988. The Netherlands are plagued by a series of IRA attacks targeting British soldiers stationed in Germany. Detective Jeanine Maes starts the hunt for the Belfast-born IRA-volunteers, in particular the legendary Fiona Hughes, also known as the Angel of Death.
