Ambulance: Code Red is a TV show on Seven. Ambulance: Code Red is a British documentary series that follows the specialised teams of the West Midlands Ambulance Service on their most extreme calls as they respond to life-or-death incidents across the Midlands. It features crews from the Lye-based Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as well as the West Midlands Ambulance Services MERIT team, who are typically only called upon in the most serious of trauma cases. With exclusive access to the highest-priority cases, Ambulance: Code Red provides viewers with unparalleled insights into the work of these elite first-responders as they race to the scenes of emergencies and then use cutting-edge trauma techniques, including dramatic and often life-saving roadside surgery, to save patients from almost certain deaths. With the help of body cams and mobile film crews, viewers get a 360-degree multi-angle view that captures every second of these critical situations. The program has been available since 2024.
