Season 2
When other friends are busy, Jet and Sunspot spend a day together, bonding as "kid and his pet." They do sometime-honoured Earthie owner-pet things - play catch, obstacle course, dance, etc - then look for other activities.
As Jet, Sydney, Sean, Mindy, and Sunspot hike a local Boxwood Terrace hill - using a simple map - they discuss tall mountains on Earth, then mountains on other planets.
Stuck in bed with a cold while the other kids are outside enjoying the best kite-flying day of the year, Sean uses his imagination to have a fun day anyway, by designing simple machines to make a sick kid's day easier.
Jet and friends go to Mars with Celery to retrieve Jet 2, who's been left up there by accident. Jet has a plan to use Jet 2 to help him provide a perfect Mothers' Day for Celery.
A DSA sponsored Earth Day celebration gets our kids excited to make Earth day posters. Jet loves the one-day-to-celebrate-Earth idea, but wonders why it isn't every day?
After Carrot finds out that Jet, Sydney, Sean, Sunspot and Mindy have been planning a surprise circus-themed party for his birthday, he joins in the fun… but ends up straining his back while attempting a high-flipping trick.
A total eclipse of the Sun is about to happen in Boxwood Terrace, and our kids are delighted that they get to observe it! They hurry to the "Total Eclipse Block Party" to celebrate and learn about eclipses.
Sean has been looking forward to his Space Scouts sleep-out all year, and now it's tomorrow night! But it's gotten rained out the past two years, and now, seeing clouds building, he's worried they'll be rained out again.
Dr Ellen Ochoa, the director of the Johnson Space Center, is coming to visit the Deep Space Array in Boxwood Terrace. Jet, Sydney, Mindy and Sean are as excited as the DSA scientists and have a lot of questions.

When Sean's beloved Neil Armstrong figure falls down a narrow crevice in the dirt, the kids all join together to try to figure out how to get it out. Despite using every resource they can, no one can get the figure out.
When large, unusual birds show up in Jet's back yard, the kids start an investigation. The kids research, observe, consult with Dr Rafferty, and find out the birds are snow geese and are on their annual bird migration.
It's a beautiful day and the kids are excited that they will get to go surfing at the beach, since Dr Skelley has offered to take them all! They head out in the morning, only to discover that the ocean has moved way back.
The kids are using Sean's telescope to look at two asteroids in the night sky and notice that one is brighter than the other. They ask Dr Rafferty, and she explains about albedo, the reflectivity of an object.
The kids wish they could see a star up close, and realise that our own sun is actually a star, just like the little twinkling stars far away - it just looks different because it's closer!
Sunspot is acting very strange lately: he's grumpy, irritable, and won't do his usual favourite things (he even turns down eating a giant hoagie!). The kids ask Carrot and Celery to help understand what is wrong with him.
After Sean does a show of super cool things involving magnets, Jet is blown away by the incredible power of an arth magnet. The kids go on a journey of discovery around the neighbourhood, playing with simple bar magnets.
The kids are waiting for the Sun to come out so they can play "shadow tag," but there have been a few overcast days, and they're getting frustrated. If they could count on seeing the Sun, they'd be able to plan their games.
Mindy watches the Sun set and tells Jet and Sydney that she can see it move across the sky every day. Sydney and Jet are having a hard time explaining that the Sun doesn't move but that the Earth is moving around the Sun.
