Car SOS
Car SOS is a British automotive entertainment series written for television, and produced by and for the National Geographic Channel. The show revolves around its presenters teaming up with a specialist car restoration team to restore classic cars all from British and European owners. The cars in questions are submitted to the show by friends or relatives of the owners, who generally are unable to restore the vehicles by themselves due to medical or financial reasons. Car SOS has been presented from the start in 2013 by engineering enthusiast Tim Shaw (Balls of Steel, Tim Shaw's Asylum) and musician/mechanic Fuzz Townshend. Each episode starts with them picking up a car to be restored and delivering it to the workshop. Shaw is usually sent around the country to look for the correct spare parts while the vehicle is being restored.
