Algiers Confidential is a TV show on SBS ONE. Algiers Confidential is a crime thriller series written by French-Algerian scriptwriter Abdel Raouf Dafri (Gibraltar, La Commune) and produced by French film director Frederic Jardin (Totems, Sleepless Night). The story follows German Police investigator Ralf Eley, who is assigned to the German Embassy in Algeria and has a forbidden affair with the Algerian Prosecutor. When a German arms dealer is kidnapped in Algiers, Eley and his love interest suddenly find themselves at opposite ends of the same investigation. Algiers Confidential boasts an international cast lead by German actor and producer Ken Duken (Fate: The Winx Saga, Traumfabrik). He is supported, amongst others, by French-Algerian actress Hania Amar (Khamsa, En attendant les hirondelles), French-Algerian actor Dali Benssalah (No Time To Die, Les Sauvages), and Emmy-winning German actress Anna Schudt (In Berlin wächtst kein Orangenbaum, Klassentreffen). The program has been available since 2024. A total of 4 episodes have been broadcast, most recently in April 2024.
