Foyle's War
Foyle's War is a TV show on ABC. Foyle's War is a British detective drama television series that was created by Midsomer Murders creator and author Anthony Horowitz, and which is set during and shortly after the Second World War. Detective Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle, portrayed by English actor Michael Kitchen, is on the lookout for criminals who are seeking to take advantage of the general confusion created by the war in and around the town of Hastings, in Sussex. Something that has come up regularly amongst the critics is the historical accuracy of the series. Foyle's War, and the murder mysteries depicted in it, closely follows the drama of the Second World War, without losing the murder mystery format.
