Season 4
The 22 remaining male and female recruits battling to pass a unique version of SAS selection have their physical and mental strength tested by ex-Special Forces Operator Ant and his team.
For the first time 25 men and women are thrust into a harsh and unforgiving winter warfare environment. In the Special Forces world no one is interested in equality for the sake of it.
Season 1
The remaining recruits are put through the final, notoriously gruelling stage of selection: interrogation. Each recruit is on his own as the DS hand them each over to specialist interrogators.
Of the 30 who started, only 11 remain. The DS now have to whittle the group down to the six they think may have what it takes to complete the final stage.
On day five of the recruitment process, the ex-special forces soldiers test the recruits' ability to handle and control fear. With only 12 recruits left, the stakes are high.
The ex-Special Forces soldiers up the intensity, and the recruits choose their weakest colleagues, who then lead the next task as they take part in a gruelling challenge.
The recruits arrive and are immediately thrown into the deep end. Ex-Special Forces soldiers set them a series of challenging physical and psychological tests.
