Eriksson's murder is proving difficult to solve; Backstrom is taken in and Ankan takes over the investigation; Backstrom starts looking into the abuse of Baron von Comer, believing the cases may be connected.

An expensive antique Russian music box that depicts Pinocchio appears to be the motive behind the murders. Bäckström wants to find out who has previously owned the music box.

S2 Ep4

Ankan begins to doubt Bäckström's honesty; Eriksson has been hiding a big secret, which sheds new light on the night of the murder; Olsson risks ruining the entire investigation in a desperate attempt to impress Ankan.

S2 Ep5

Bäckström receives death threats and it seems that Tina is the only one who can help him; the police, led by Ankan and Olsson, are spying on Bäckström's best friend in the hope of getting a crucial lead in the investigation.

S2 Ep6

Bäckström comes to the realisation that he has to hand over Pinocchio; Ankan finally sees through Bäckström's lies, and their relationship is put to the test.
